MexicoSustainability In Mexico

From January to March 2007, Britt Walker and Katie Nixon Traveled throughout Mexico to gathering footage for a grassroots documentary focusesd on Cultural and Ecological Sustainability.

The goal of our adventure was to document and learn how communities, cooperatives, and organizations have translated concepts of sustainability into action. We visited permaculture education sites, sustainable agriculture projects, cooperatives that provide income and sustain traditional culture, groups dedicated to environmental awareness, and more.

Our objective was and still is to make this educational documentary available in Mexico and in the U.S. as a means to raise awareness, create cross-cultural networks, and promote sustainability in its many forms.

And while the trip is complete we are still on the long journey of editing the footage we collected, so that we can put the film together and make it avalible soon.
